Race story
Lantau 70 has been part of Hong Kong's trail running story for more than a decade, and the route is the reason. It follows the full Lantau Trail, a loop that climbs out of Mui Wo to Ngong Ping, drops to the fishing town of Tai O, runs the southern coast to Shui Hau and comes back over the Lantau ridges to the finish.
It is a daytime race through everything Hong Kong trails do best: long staircases, open ridge lines, exposed coastal sections and heat. Race it solo, or split it four ways with your team.
